Buy the best you can afford. The more pixels the better. The more power the better. The name is important but I have used Garmin, Eagle, Hummingbird and Lowerance. Again, get the best you can afford. It will pay off later.
any input on fish finders. I have a war eagle duck/fishing boat

I have 2 war-Eagles a 2072-SLDV and a 17ft with rear pods.
On the 20ft I have a Humminbird 400TX on the trolling motor and a Humminbird 987c SI on the console.
On the 17ft there 2 of the 400TX on it.
Hard to get a depthfinder to work running on them. As the step hull its hard to get clean water for the transducer.

I bought an eagle fishmark 320 today at academy for 136 bucks,, have heard a lot of good comments on it, although i havent tried it out yet I think I will be satisfied
thanks for the input. as for the war eagle owner. I am trying to by the t-lock cap rail accessories(rod holders, cup holders, etc). Not many dealers near knoxville, tn. Is there anywhere else i can get these accessories?
Blackwidow you will like the 320. You can go to the Eagle web site and download a program and practice using it right on your computer. Luck to ya!!
