    Default Found Open Water??

It was 8 inches below the ice!

I couldn’t talk my ice tester Alex into going. Made Watkins Mill look like Swiss Cheese and not a bite. Oh well just bored and had to try it. I guess all the crappie talk at the Northland event that made me crazy enough to try. Walking across slushy spots was a bit nerve racking.

Jack, it's going to be hard to learn when you're on the wrong lakeDoh Watkins Mill.

on the bright side I didn't have any problems with jet ski's!

Follow the bouncing ball here Bill; If you go thru the ice at W M you won't be able to fish Smithville....up to speed now?

I might try my luck on another local lake tomorrow before ice out . Last ice is good fishing , but risky towards ice out .

the best way I have found to fish ice is make sure the ice is crushed before you pour the crown over it, then sip slowly, add lemonade is so desired then sit the ice filled glass besides you and stay in the warm.
