    What is the estimated weight of a healthy 16 in black crappie?

    I've caught 16's that ranged in weight from 1.5lbs to close to three and they all looked healthy(thick well formed, not thin). I'd say little over 2 maybe 2.5lbs actually if it were mine I'd say 3lbs. :p :D :D

    same here most of my 16'' ers weigh around 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 depending of the time of year

    Here it would probably weigh 2 to 2 1/4 lbs but it depends who I'm showing it to. It might be a 3 pounder!!!

    if its a female full of eggs it could go 3 lbs
    with my mind on crappie and crappie on my mind -
    and if ya'll see Goober later tellem I said duh huh - he'll know what ya mean!!!!!!!!

    Yep; I'm with them there other fellows.If I caught it would have weight 3lb's:D ,But being that I didn't it might not of been that big:
    I did get one, one time that was 6lb:p ,But I ate it.:rolleyes: took a pic- of it setting on the scales beside a ruler,But guess what?The dog eat the pic- along with my homework.The dog gained 3lbs:p :D : ,

    Talking If you didn't weigh it .....

    go by the "fish weight calculators" ........ I tried 5 different sites, and they all said a 16" Crappie weighed 3.41lbs ....... cp

    Here a 16 inch Black Crappie will weigh about 2.8 lbs. 14-1/2 inch crappie here is 2 lbs. most of the time.

    This time of year that fish should weigh anywhere from 1.75 to right at 2.75 lbs. But They do vary in weight thats for sure.
