Default Help with knot tying with arthritis

I am getting up in years and my fingers and eyes don't work as good at they used to. I have a lot of trouble retying on the lake with the boat moving and the small lines we use for crappie. My question is this. Do any of you "pre rig" setups that you can just clip on a swivel clamps and if so what is your setup. It would be so much better to be able to do this when I hangup or have to break off the rig. While we are talking on this subject maybe you all would share your "rigs" and the types of knots you use. I love this site and everyone is so eager to help. Hope to get some good feedback on this.
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

The first link is a tool that I have seen advertised to help tie fishing knots. I don't know how well it works, but it isn't expensive. The other links are just fishing knots. I think the easiest knot to do is the off shore swivel knot. I have used it when catching saltwater fish and it works well by doubling the line. The palimar is easier also. I wish I knew a way to help you, but the line will always be small and so will the hook and jig eyes. The only thing I would suggest is do like I do and rig a bunch of rod and if all your lines get broke... ...go home. I rig up at least 12 rods. I use these little spring steel snap ons. They are really tiny, they look like the eye of a larger hook. I tie them on and can take my pliers to hold them while I snap jigs and hooks on and off of them. Like I said when they break off I just grab another rod. You may want to tie or buy snelled hooks, and try tying something similar on a few jigs. The loop in the end will be a lot easier for you to tie to. I hope this helps.
This only my opinion, but nothing you can say will change my mind. That makes it a FACT.

Stumbled on to this site while surfing. This is the snaps I use. Not this brand mine are cheaper, just can't remember the name. I've always used these. They give a jig great action and allways hold it in the correct position.

Wow I just got 2 of the Knotter's from the Indy Boat and fishing show. I was sold quick while watching the sales pitch on how fast you could make the knot. CrappieChaser2 my wife had master this tool in one try. Good luck and I think this will help.

crappiechaser2...this is a good site for knots..try and see which knot works best for you. I use the Palomar...it's quick and easy and works very well.
    Good luck.
