Guys new to the forum, avid fisher! What spinning reels do you recommend? I prefer to fish a 7 foot light or ultralight power/ fast or moderate fast action rod, I have used an Abu Garcia Cardinal and a Shakespeare Inspinity reel (discontinued dangit!), I am trying to figure out what I want to run on a custom 7foot light power/fast action rod. Primarily to target crappies and big blue gills and the occasional bass over 5+lbs. Any help would be great!

I think pflueger has the best affordable reels on the market right now
Minnermatics Prostaff
My wife lets me buy all the rods and reels I can hide.
Pflueger president 50 bucks or Rogers sporting goods.com has quantum catalyst pti10 reels for 49 they are reg 129. it is a heck of a reel for that price. The Pflueger is as smooth as it gets for the price. Oh almost forgot check out the new Lews spinning reels they are nice and use the spool bearing like the Pfluegers...
me myself use mitchell advocet 21 dollars at walmart
fishing from the couch in front of the tv doesnt count

Just take a look at the recommendations. I use Pfleuger exclusively, Triton is probably the best bang for the buck on the market.

ROTO VISE DEALER
One heck of a deal from BPS.
I have one and just ordered 3 more at this price.

Lots of reels to choose from. Buy as many ball bearings as you can afford and watch for sales. I have a Pflueger President that I like, and a Diawa Capricorn that both are smooth as silk, but not necessary for crappie rods where a $15 line holder with a bearing or two will do fine. Loosen your drag some when you store any reel and your drag washers wont compress and work smoother for many years.
