    Default Bulk crappie minnows

I would like to buy Crappie minnows by the pound to keep in a tank. Does anyone know where to buy these in North Carolina in the Marion, Morganton, Hickory area? thanks

I would check with my local bait shops and find out who their suppliers are.

Slipcork: I checked out their website (Anderson's) and they don't have any price listings. Do you have a ballpark idea what they charge for the 5lb box? Shipping? I called but could not get anyone to answer. Their site says they are open till 4 and I called about 3:45. They want you to leave a message, but they will just call when I am at work.

Looks like a great price if you can keep them alive. Curious about total cost from Anderson's as well.

Minnows in bulk are fairly inexpensive here but shipping a bag of water and oxygen in an insulated box is expensive. Minnows probably less than 1/3 of the price, rest is shipping and handling. I have a buddy who's family raises Goldfish and Pink Minnows in Lonoke. They ship all over the place by air and truck loads. They even use jigs when we fish togather.
