I've had a PP, and they work fine. I have a Talon that I haven't installed yet, so I don't know how it works. I do know it is simpler to install, cheaper, and easily removable.
looking to get one for my boat, is one better than the other.

The Talon is new and not a lot of them out there yet. I do like the specs on the talon.

Talon looks to be a cinch to install with only a power wire to run. Power pole require a pump inside the boat if memory serves. Plus Talon with remote is a few hundred cheaper. That'd be the direction I'd go in. But, if you get a pair of 'em and don't like 'em, you can just mail 'em to me and tell me I was wrong.
