john toledo texas, south mississippi if you like good folks and barbecue and big crappie,
bet there are a hundred places to retire to, wish I had done that winter home thing.
Me and the wife are going to be retiring in a couple of years
and want to spend the months of january and february somewhere
that it is warm, and preferably cheap. Can anyone recommend
a lake, possibly in texas or arizona that would fit the bill. We may
buy a cheap trailer or try to rent one there.
I would appreciate any info. :
Thanks

florida around lake okeechobee. trailers for sale all the time around the lake and now they are cheap. on the north end of the lake are several places close together and it's not too far to other lakes to fish. i know of one in moore haven that is a real nice big trailer that's for sale. don't know the price but can put you in touch with the owner. it's a 3 bedroom 2 bath about 10 years old. neighbors are very nice. they have a community building where they have suppers once a week during the winter months, pot luck. public launch ramp real close. if you want info on it let me know.
