    Default Crappie in Connecticut????

I am moving from a prime crappie state (ARKANSAS) to Connecticut, after the summer. I see there is no state forum for Connecticut. Does anyone know if for some reason the crappie fishing is just not there? I see New York has a forum, so I am sure there are crappie in CT. Anyone know anything about CT crappie???

you might want to check this out: http://dep.state.ct.us/cgnhs/lakes/lakepond.htm

and you could really use one of these : http://secure.whereeverythingis.com/...Product_ID=151

and you might want to consider purchasing this magazine, or just reading it on-line: http://www.newenglandgameandfish.com/

and you will certainly want to check out articles in the above link, about Crappie fishing "New England" style - like these: http://www.newenglandgameandfish.com...nfish-fishing/

Thanks. I actually have ordered the magazine a couple weeks ago, but have not received it yet.

You might be surprised, really, really surprised. :D It is sure to be different stuff than what you are used to, but up there, there are very few people who ever fish for, or keep, Crappie. After a few years, you can expect 15s or better regularly. Keep it that way and put some big ones back.
    Sorry for my Crappie attitude.
