Default Your most innovative rod storage ideas

Over the years I have accumulated several poles~Everything from my 14' spider rigs to 5' dock shooters. Looking for some innovative homemade ideas on how to store all these poles in the garage area. Pics would be nice since I'm more of the visual type learner. Thanks

If you have exposed rafters in the garage/shed like I do, just hang them in-between the rafters on some ladder hooks. Safe, out of the way,

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Oh..and this rack is mounted to the ceiling right above the gunnel of the boat so I can stand in the boat and reach the rods...

    Default racks

Having rods at ground level always gets in my way, and they occasionally get broke. I started hanging them from the ceiling years ago and haven't tripped over or broken one since. Lots of different ways to get them up there, so just get some input and see which one you like best. I have a shed out back and use these clothes pole supports for the heavy end, reel seat at the hook to support the weight, and a 1" cup hook for the light end, sometimes 2 if they're real long. Need a bigger shed, got more than I have ceiling.

I built this out of scrap and put some rollers on bottom! I can just roll it from side to side if needed! It holds twenty but now I have bought eight more rods! I may have to start hanging them from ceiling also!

Thanks for the ideas. Don't have any rafters but they sure would come in handy. MePreach those are nice holders just to come from scraps. Look store bought. Still thinking about what to use but the wall mounted may be my best option. Just have to get my rods organized. They all look good!
