Default Im gonna try to build some condos but..

Im unsure how tall and how wide to build these. Also whats the rule of thumb for how deep to sink vs how tall of a condo to do these? Im sure conditions will vary but Im new to this and would like to create a hot spot for me and my 9yr old son to make memories at. Also Ive been told by some fellers that have been around awhile to bait these spots with creme corn. Anybody do here do this ?

    Default Thanks Guys!!

I appreciate the link and the responses. Im most curious of the depth to put these out and about how much I should have between the tops and the top of the water. Theres alot of good hard bottom areas on my lake so i guess im lucky there. Also should I be more concerned with deep water condo's or shallow shore line buckets this time of year? Im wanting to do both so when it warms and the fish move up ill have a place to stalk lol.

    Default condos

Condos really work and fast!!! Check out North Carolinas site for more info. I have been placing mine in about 18-20 ft. of water using bamboo about 7-8 ft. long. Good luck!!!

The arms need to be alot LONGER and you need a good solid based of cement around that main pipe. SOmeone said something about using the predrilled corrigated 5" pipe for your main shaft but I QUIT making the way you are and only do it in one style, like Crappie Krazy does...I make mine from 12' tall to 3' tall.
