I make a simple coleslaw.. Just grate a head of cabbage ,add mayonaise ,hot pepper vinegar, salt and pepper to taste....... You can add carrots or onions to your likin ......................Just don't forget the salt.................If you like a sweeter coleslaw add a little sugar.................

The old cole slaw from KFC is awfully tough to beat for me. When I smoke a pork shoulder, I'll go up there just to buy some slaw from em!

Talking Here's my recipe plus a cheater

    Mine:
Run 1/2 head of firm cabbage through the grater on your food processor or a hand grater. Add 2 grated carrots.

Mix about (I don't measure) a cup of Hellman's mayo with a tablespoon yellow mustard, enough milk to just barely make it pourable and a tablespoon of celery seed. Add salt and sugar to taste. Pour over the vegetables and refigerate for an hour before serving. Even better next day.

    Cheater:
Toss one bag of Dole classic slaw mix with a half jar of Marzetti old fashioned slaw dressing. Refrigerate and serve.

Nomad, take a bag of slaw mix (as roberta says) 1/3 cup sugar, 1 8oz jar Miracle Whip salad dressing. Mix the sugar and salad dressing and pour over the cabbage, mix it up and your done. Tastes better if ya let it sit in the fridge for an hour...izzy

Use the receipe off the Hellman's mayonaise jar. Makes great slaw. You can adjust the lemon and sugar to taste, but start with what is on the jar. Pop
