i have two sets of driftmasters and one homemade t bar. I found some nice flatlay holders on Ebay for $6 each. They work great.
What type of rod holder is good or what kind have you all made yourself?

Driftmaster- very versatile. They are also a sponsor for this site.
I'm using Driftmasters too.

These on the back of the boat were made by Brad Whitehead. He uses these while guiding for crappie. The bottom picture is the set up on my boats for spider fishing. Hope this helps.

Thanks, the pics help a lot. I was looking for a quick cheap way to do it without it all being in the way.
Here is mine. And the rod holders there selfs are the cheep ones form Wal-Mart with the clamp base taken off.
Also mine has a bungy cord on each side to help hold them. Take the Bungy cord off and turn mine to the side and it makes it easy to get in the boat. And you don't have to jump over it.

Here's some rod holders I made for my boat. I bought the rodholders of ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1 but made the stands out of 1/2" pipe. They work great!
