Six lb. test high vis yellow line, road runner jigs, any color combination that has chartreuse in it is good.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Umbrella tubes made by Southern Pro, my favorites colors are pink/white, silver/white, and any color with chartruse.

X2 on the southern pro hot grubs, and you will not beat the prices at chuckanddeb.com, selection is large, delivery is quick with a fair price, 2 orders so far and not a problem yet.

They are little 2" shad bodies, you can get them at BPS or other places carry them as well. They by far produce more fish for me, vertical jigging.

    Thumbs up Tips up top

    Welcome to C.C

There is a very good "sticky" going up top of this page.
It covers a lot of things in one spot.
Like everyone has said so far about jigs is true:
"It ain't no use if it ain't got chartruse"

On the other hand, don't discount minnows.
Especially for beginners and pros alike.
Once you learn your favorite setup and the different "feel" of fish bites you
    can do it with anything.
