    Default Mounting a transducer?


    What is good to seal it and the screws off? It is a stern mount. Thanks

    Any type of marine grade silicone sealant would be best. Lowes or Home Depot both carry it. Wait 24-48 hours before putting the boat in the water to make sure its good and sealed.

    Listen to Matt. 3M 5200. Don't get it on anything you don't want sealed because it is some tough stuff.
