    Default johnson wiring help

I am rewiring a 1991 johnson 2-stroke on my pontoon. I have a gray wire in the wiring harness from the motor that I cant figure out were it hooks to, it comes from the terminal block on the retifier. I know it goes somewhere under the console. Any one have any Idea where the gray wire on a johnson connects? Thanks SG

Canepole is right. If you had a tach that would be it's input. Just tape it off and forget it until you add a tach. BTW, there is AC voltage on that from the stator which also feeds the rectifier.
