    Wow...I've seen crappie populations explode in small ponds/lakes but sheesh lol. They do tend to be small though. Still fun.

    I assume that was taken under the ice. It sounded like an ice auger running in the back round. That is how they stack up under the ice. When ice fishing. You notice that the sound didn't bother them. A lot of times running an ice auger cutting new holes will actually draw them to the sound. I would drill a few holes and drop some lines down and then finish drilling the holes with the auger. Someone would just about always start catching fish right away while the auger was running. EB
