    Default Hook Size 2 or 4


    Okay I have been using 1/32 two & 1/16oz jigs with size two hooks. Do you think 2 or 4 are better?

    All my 1/32 jigs have a #4 hook. 1/16 have #2. When fishing with minnows I use a #1.

    tested 1 against the other: the #4 will hold a large fish better than #2 but a #2 staitens easier when snagged. all i use is #4's now. in 1/32, 1/16, 3/32...go to #2 for 1/8 oz. because of head size. i use #4 e.c. style 570 bronze. hope this helps!!!
