Good luck to ya, let us know how you do. By your post name seems your fond of maddox bay. Whats the fishing like down there. Had a guy take me duck hunting out of there one year and I swear I never would have found my way back, probably different this year being so dry. Cool place though, would like to get down that way and fish sometime. So many places, so little time.
    Gald to have you posting.

I will... Although I will be chasing green carp this weekend. I usually catch several nice crappie on a 4.5" tube when I go there.

I live at Maddox Bay... its a little slow right now. It should pick up before long.

I had a co-worker there a couple of weeks ago, before the cold front. They caught 46 fish, some nice ones. I don't think Peckerwood is "right" yet, but who knows. I hope you limit out on the slabs!!!!:D

Several people were using yo-yo’s this weekend on the upper end. I talked to one guy and he said they were really biting at night.

I did manage to catch a slab crappie on a 6” Lizard though. It shouldn’t be long before the bite is good.
