    Default Long Lining Question

I was wondering what size jig head everybody uses when they are long lining? I kind of like 1/24 oz. Also i was wondering if anybody knows any place to buy 1/24 oz plane paited jig heads? They seem to be hard to find.

    Thanks

Generally ... 1/32oz to 1/16oz is what I'd use (which includes 1/24oz). Contact Grousefly (Paul Mullins) P&S Custom Tackle, Vicco KY ... for 1/24oz heads. He can make them pretty much however you want them (hook size, hook color, paint color, head shape, etc). Crappie.com members get a discount, so let him know you're a member. You can tell him I sent ya, but that won't lower or raise the prices .... LOL !!

1/16 to 1/8 depending on how deep the big fish are, I dont like catching the 8 to 10 inch little crappie!
