    Default Transducer faceing direction ?

Hello, I have a Humminbird 210 portable fish finder I use on my 10' jon. It has a suction cup mounted transducers that I stick on the side of the boat. I was told I should put it on the back of the boat so it "reads" correct. Everything looks fine to me on the screen , but am I reading it the wrong way since trans, is turned 90* ? Does it matter ? any advice ? -Thanks

It doesn't matter. The transducer doesn't care which way it's facing. The only ones that matter are the side imaging transducers or the quadrabeam.
