Default Changing Out Trolling Motors to Wireless

I guess I am just full of questions today, and this seems like the place to get answers. Thinking about getting a wireless TM. But I noticed the hole pattern is different than the TM on my boat. What do you guys do with the empty holes. My first thought was just put the bolts back in and done. Any other ideas?

Unless the holes are showing from under the new mount, I would just try to silicone over the holes and bolt the new pattern down to cover them. If the holes are showing, I would probably put bolts and flat washers in the holes with silicone to keep them from letting water in.

I got small plastic plugs from Lowe's that just fit the holes and siliconed them into place. Boat is black and plugs are black can't hardly notice them.
