Default It's been a couple years but the wife and I went up i THINK in July and fished the da

Pretty much parked the boat right beside the roped off area at the water intake and wore them out. Catch you a bunch of small 3 inch bream and then free line them down to about 25-30 feet. MAYBE put a 1/2 ouch pinch on weight a couple feet above the bream. Then HOLD ON. Here's a couple pics

Biggest was 32 pounds and all we had were baitcasters and just elcheapo bass rods. We have a fwe searuns here on Ross Barnett but ALOT of Hybreds are stocked every year. I setup like I do for crappie in the summer and catch alot of both. I'll pull my bandit 300's out the back of the boat and troll around. I have a few spots I ride by and pick up a couple crappie, then go to the ole river channel and catch a few stripers. I messed up last year though. I had 6 pols out for crappie with a 16, 12 and 8 foot B & M trolling pole and passed through a school of 8-10 lb stripers. Ummm, I was wo out after reeling in 5 fish out of the 6 poles all by myself. Believe it or not but those 16 foot B & M trolling poles brought them on it pretty fast

    Lake Ouachita

All I know is that we are installing 25 Directv TV box, re-wiring all the coax at Crystal Springs Resort. No fishing for me.
