    I got this picture from BBC but is does back up my point on how easy color makes it to interpret what you are looking at. Down scan on left and 2d on right.

    The red line at the top of the 2d is my jig as I worked in up and down the top of the school of fish.

Size:  33.4 KBHere is a picture of what that school of fish was and how I learned and tuned my graph. The only problem is you have to stop fishing to tune your graph which is a huge problem for me.
