Red face Bought New Crappie Rod today

I bought a Bass Proshops Wally Marshall Signature 8' rod today. I will put one of my Daiwa underlever spin reels on it. I have noticed a lot of people doing the slow troll with the trolling motor are using a shorter rod than I have been using. Most of my jigging poles are at least 10'. Anyone else got one of these rods and do U like it.

I have 6 10ft rods and 1 8ft'r. Rarely use the 8. If you are slow trolling, it should be fine though. Let us know what you think about the rod once you've used it.

I have 8, 9, and 10ft wally's I use for jig fishing. I like the 8fter the best. seems to be more sensitive and more back bone. I do most of my jig fishing shalow and in brush.
