Florida Crappie Club - first tournament of 2011 schedule

Held January 8th on Harris Chain ouf of Buzzard Beach ramp, lake Eustis

Twenty-four (24) teams participated.

Two places were paid for "Big Fish" caught

1st. Team Hollingsworth & Laubee fish wgt 1 lb 15.4 oz
2nd. Team Kinsler & Williams " " 1 lb 13.2 oz

Five positions paid for "7 fish total weight" catch

1st Team Darryl & Terri Cole 10 lbs. 10.0 oz
2nd " Kinsler & Williams 10 lbs. 5.5 oz
3rd " Hollingsworth & Laubee 9 lbs. 5.0 oz
4th " Baker & Earl 9 lbs. 4.0 oz
5th " Larry Clark 8 lbs. 10.0 oz

WOW....what a crappie tournament....many big crappie caught....many heavy weights.....nice pay-out....nice group of people with happy, smiling faces with stories to tell of their day on the lake....the Florida Crappie Club is who I want to fish with....I hope to make tournament #2 on Johns Lake in Febuary....I think it is on Hwy 50 just east of Clermont, Fl
