Default Another add a seat idea w/pic

I seen this on a guides boat the other week and he says it worked out great for him! I thought I would post the picture and see if anybody has done this and how it worked out? He used a bolt to fasten the board to his threaded pedestal base and then added bases on board! It seemed sturdy and easy to remove!

Here is the one we are making/selling now. Its flat to the floor so less to trip over and you can move in between the seats. Completely disassembles and will fit in rod box. Several ways to skin the cat on double seat mounts though, the box idea works too Preach. Tight lines.

You didn't happen to ask him what that angle screwed down to the front was for, did you? At least it looks like an angle and not a hinge.

Crappie soldier, I like the one that you guys are building but I need one that relocates the seats rearward from the single existing mount.

I dont think the thin aluminum angle on the edge served much purpose! I know I am not going to use angle if I make one! I did like this idea and seemed very simple and most of all it was sturdy...which means alot to me! If I remember correctly he just glued two pieces of 2x12 or 2x10's together and carpeted. The only thing I would do different is probably recess the bolt head a little bit!

Those look great crappie soldier! I like the rod holders also! Let us know when you get a price on them?

That rod racks gonna be $200. Thats the 3 pieces with 1 for the front, middle and back of boat on our rod holder base that is easily detached---so you can take them off when you don't need them. That won't be an in stock item so it would take a few days to make and then ship--complete custom order so if you need them taller/shorter/wider it won't be a problem. I originally didn't think it would cost that much but its pretty time intensive. Give us a call if your interested, 606 425-7151. Tight lines!
