    Default 1/2/11 Truman

Had a limit in no time flat. Once I found the spot, I caught enough fish for 3-4 limits. kept 1 limit and had a heck of a time. It was my backup plan, my go to spot didn't seem like it was going to work since I could stand on the ice.

Upper grand, orange and Chart slab buster was all I needed to get it done. Never had more than 12ft of line out of the reel, and I never touched it. Heck of a time, home in time for second half of the game. Didn't see the KC Star down there Did see Crappie Nightmare as I was leaving.

Good job Dunc sorry i couldn't make it.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Way to go. Looks like Plan B worked out ok for you. Them damn creeks can freeze in a hurry. Glad you got some. You may as well stayed and caught some more from the looks of the game you did not miss anything.

Good looking fish, Dunc. Always good to have a "plan B". Thanks for the report.
