    Default Smithville today

Went ti smithville today and had a fight with the elements. found some fish in 17-19 ft of water in sailboat cove on brush next to deep water .best colors were white and chartreuse and red & white also some caught on black and chartreuse.Key again brush had to be close to a drop or on a break line and DEAD STICK your bait with little movement and a nibble did seem to help. partner and i ended with 15 fish not a bad day for a gale outside lmao............happy new year everyone...........Charlie[ATTACH]51902

Thanks for the report, seems like the only way they want it right now is to dead stick it.

We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

Good to hear someone was catching fish. Better than we did the day before, just couldn't get much going.

The wind must have been tough but at least you got into some. Thanks again for the report!
