Sounds like yall had a good time. Nice looking fish!
Well we finaly got to go out on Norman today.Early on they were real slow. But by late afternoon almost darkthey started biting real good and fast.Caught all on minnows. They didnt care if they were alive or not. They bit them anyway.I just hate that we didnt have our night gear with us.Started catching crappie at 30 feet. But later in the day we were catching them at 4 to 5 feet.Go figure. We through alot back.Anything under 10 inches.I know Lake Norman says 8 inches. But to us thats still a little small.Anyway here is a picture of some that we caught today. With the ones that we through back we caught 45 to 50 crappie.Taking home about half of that.So to us thats not a bad day fishing.

Wow thats a nice catch. Sounds like you did a great job at the trolling motor working all those different depths. Those filets are going to taste great on this ice cold weekend.
Great Catch, would look good in my fry pan...
