That's a great catch for a relatively short time fishing. The size sounds pretty good too. Congrats.
Went fishing around Shawnee Bend today. We put in around 1:00 We had 2 limits at 4:30.We had a 14 1/2", a 13 1/2", and a 13" crappie along with plenty of 10 to 12 inch. There was really no pattern. Some was 12' deep while others was just a couple of feet deep. We fished within a couple miles of the ramp. The ramp was good shape and there was no ice in the cove. We seen 1 other boat coming out when we was putting in. They had 3 nice limits with some really nice heavy fish mixed in. Hoping to get out a few more days this week to catch a few more.

Nicely done. Those are some hogs for sure. Was that at truman or loz? Congrats on the good day.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
We was at LOZ on the Osage Arm. I'm looking forward to fishing Truman for the first time this year at Crappie Camp.
Thanks for the report. Can't wait to get down there Wed. nite and fish in the warm weather. Great job.
