    Default Oklahoma Christmas crappie

My buddy Dudley and I went out today from 12:00 to 4:00 and caught 35 keepers. We caught 30 or 40 throwbacks too. We used minnows and jigs, but the jigs outproduced the minnows today. We fished brush piles in 17-18 FOW. It was cold, but it didn't seem so bad with the crappie biting so well. The best jig today was a 1/16 or 1/8oz pink head with Bobby Garlands baby shad in licorice. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years from Oklahoma!

Looks like Christmas came early. Congrats on a great day of fishing and a nice mess of fish to bring home.

Yes Lowell they were all caught off a brush pile. Caught most of em a foot off bottom. but some were suspended up in the brush a few feet off bottom.
