Some crappie fun

For those of you that don't know me, I drive for a living. Sleep deprivation and caffeine overload does strange things to the mind over a long period of time.I was tooling along when out of the blue, this popped into my head and fell into place in just a few minutes. Now you have to be a little old (like me) to know this tune, but if you listen real close i think you can hear Cass and Michelle in the background singing backup harmony.

All the leaves are brown, and the sky is gray
I went for a ride, in my boat today
Got my fancy jigs out, and I began to play
They call it crappie fishin, on such a winters day

Stopped at a bait shop, I passed along the way
for the owners honey holes, he said I'd have to pay
I bet they're nice and warm, on Okeechobee today
Call it Crappie fishin, on such a winters day

Well that's as far as I got, but thought you might get a giggle out of it.

But lets go a step further, lets do the night before Christmas with a crappie spin. Lets hear what you got. I already have the closing line, and a wish for all my CDC brothers and sisters;
