Just wandering what you guys are using as far as cranks. Have any of you used the new Yo-zuri snap bean?

This only my opinion, but nothing you can say will change my mind. That makes it a FACT.

i have been curious about the snap-beans as well. Probably the smallest crank on the market. They look great. Never coughed over the $$$$$ to get some yet

200 and 300 bandits. I know there are others that will catch them but Its hard to try something else when you are tearin em up.

    Lightbulb Crankbait Technique

Does anyone here troll small shallower running crankbaits but add a little weight about 12 inches above the crankbait to get the crankbait to run about 15-20 ft? I was thinking about 3/8 to 1/2 oz. jigs twitchin'....................cd

Agree with J White, good rule of thumb. A 1/2 lb. crappie will attack a 300 series Bandit.

I use a 1/4 oz white Sparkletail with red eyes. They are hard to find at times and I thought they had even stopped making them. I found out they are still manufactured by Eppinger Mfg. Co. in Dearborn, Michigan. They make the Red Devil spoons that have been around for ever. I have very good luck on this bait. I also use a 1/4 oz Hot n Tot. I use it in fire tiger. It produces good also. Good luck to you.

Try this address www.eppinger.net to check out the Sparkletail lure.

Tim, I used to stock up on them every Fall when I went to Sardis, but that
store is no longer there. Now any I get either come from Bass Pro, or some
local bait shops. Higher price at the bait shops, but no shipping (or waiting)
I know the local shops got to make a living, but have seen some now around
Sardis "scalping" them for near $6 a piece - you know, the shops close to the
lake where everything is high - not me
