Did a little ice fishing today. Went to LAKE HOLIDAY in SANDWICH ILL. A good 7in. of ice.
13 fow crappies at 9 to 10 ft. gills just of bottom. Ended with 22 gills and13 crappie. I might fry a few up for dinner with some cornbread.

    "cornbread"

    Yankees...

Why not fry up spoon-sized portions of that cornbread batter and make hush puppies?

    Much better with fish, IMO.

Nice mess of fish there. I don't know how you guys up North can do the ice fishing. Once it gets below 40 here I don't want to leave the house!!
The best time to go fishing is now!:D
