I live in Clay County, about 30 miles east of London. I fished the Cumberland headwaters at London Dock once and Wood's Creek once last year with little success. I also fished at Lake Cumberland once with little success. Each of these lakes have ample fishing room, but there just doesn't seem to be many fish to go around. As far as Laurel River Lake goes, unless you like being disturbed by "recreational" riders, I would avoid it. There are better lakes just a few more miles away. Cedar Creek,. Dale Hollow, and Green River lakes are all moderately close to London and offer excellent fishing opportunities for numerous species of fish
All in all you're just another fish on my wall.
