    Question Kelly tires, any opinions

I put off buying new tires for waaaay too long. It's going to be snowing and for the next couple days and I need new ones NOW. The only place open tomorrow is sold out of the Goodyears that I usually buy. They are trying to sell me a set of Kellys that they say are comparable to the Goodyears but they want $17 more per tire for them. I've never used Kellys or know of anybody that has. Any advice??????????

Wow. Did a search and learned something. Kelly tires are part of the Goodyear company. See the following link. Otherwise I cannot help as never used the Kelly brand myself.

Never ran 'em. I run Cooper tires.

use cooper tires on my truck as well. Never bought Kelly tires but see lots of vehicles with Kelly brand on. Surprised they are more $$ than the GY's

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Thanks for your input. I wound up getting Uniroyals. I don't know how well they will do but they seem to run good in the snow we've got so far.

I have a set of Kelly's on my PU now. I haven't ran them in snow. So far they are quiet and I like them. Didn't know they were more expensive than Goodyears though.
