Vacation Day Fishing

[STL Crappie Nightmare]

I fully took advantage of the vacation day today. Stayed in bed till 8 pulled into McDonalds drive thru and headed to Bucksaw. Put in and as bob would say, I headed UP. Started at the mouth of the creek jigging timber 10ft down in 20 fow and caught 5 good eaters before I could even move into the creek. Moved in a bit and start fishing timber in 12-15 fow fishing 10ft down and promptly finished my limit, never even made it into the creek only went .3 miles in says the GPS. The big fish went 1lb 5oz I got 2 more the size of the smaller one and the rest good 10-11 inch eaters. Half caught on blue/white and half caught on orange/char. Perfect day on the water hardly any wind or any boats the lake looked like glass, too bad I can't retire any time soon. Must be nice to be OSS :D
