Default What to use in Ohio

    Ok guys,
Here in the buckeye bamboo is nonexsistent as far as I know. So have you ever used anything like sumac for structure. I just here the bamboo stuff and think if we could use some sort of tall woody material natural to our area.
    Anyone have any idea.

bttmline i have been thinking about take a drive down a country road stopping and cutting a bush or two down. that type of bush i have been looking at has about 4 to 8 shoots coming out of the ground and is anywhere from 2 to 5 feet tall. just look to the side of the road and you will see what i am talking about. or if you know some ppl that have land. i am sure they will be glad to hear you will be clearing cutting there land for free. lol.

I may have some on my property. I was just wondering if anyone has used anything that has worked and lasted for more then 1 season besides stuff like christmas trees. Just got some scrap pvc from a construction site to build some condos but was wondering about something similar to bamboo.
