    Default Chilly day on smithville

Started about 8 am with limitout and gump, 18 degrees and wind chill of about 10. had our limits by 10am but stayed around and fun fished till 2pm. fished brushpiles in 18-20 fow . caught fish on one pile for about 3 hours nonstop, must have caught 250-300 hundred fish, releasing at least 6-8 limits. best bite was a double rig over the top of the pile down 10-12 ft. blk/cht and blue/cht was the colors of the day. sent limitout home with 44 nice eaters, someone lost count. fish came from campbranch near bridge.

Tomorrow's my day off and I was going to get started on some wood working projects I've been putting off. I'm thinking those projects can wait a little while longer with a report like that. "Dang the torpedos (and frozen rod-tips)....full steam ahead!!!!!"
I believe in catch and release.....right into the grease!!!!!
