Default What's the best way to store jigs in a damp basement

My basement is where I store all tackle and in summer it gets humid because the furnace doesn't come on. Zip lock bags seem to do okay, but once a hook point punches a hole or two, moisture gets in and rust begins. Storing 500 jigs in one container is probably not a good idea.

    Any thoughts?

How about air tight tupper ware boxes and put in some dessicate packs. I saw where Wal-Mart was selling cans of dry-sorb in their marine section the other day. Also I'm pretty sure Lowes and Home Depo have something similar to the dry-sorb canisters.

Plano also makes a water proof box with a rubber seal if you're worried your fishing buddies will poke fun at you for using tupper ware.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I like that idea. Seal tight boxes for sandwiches and smaller snack boxes would be just right.
To absorb moisture I could include a folded paper towel and desicant pack.
