    Talking C&C & BigMack's System

I used their system for a couple of years and it is a winner, I just didn't.
It takes a lot of patience and practice.
You gotta work your way up to 8 poles, I never could.
A good partner is part of the recipe.
I only got to where we can handle 6 at a time and one of those I keep in hand.
I made a modified system that works better for me.
the post is a couple of pages down now where I show all.

I sell the C&C rigs and have bulk # 8 crossline swivels available for $9.95/100 pk.

If you refer to their book "Winning Secrets" i believe they indicate a #8 or #6. Too small and your lines will get tangled more often. Two big and they will casue more drag on your lines as you move forward.

Wish they made them with lighter line. I think the 3/8 oz one is on 10 lb test. So would have to run 12-14 main line. I tie mine all winter long and wrap on pipe insulation. I tie mine differant with the weight on bottom to detect the bottom easier when fishing shallow. But also tie mine with 6 lb test and use 10 on main line. The it will break off below the swivel on my main line. Put another one the swivel slap on two minnows and back in the water real fast that way and no having to retye on the water.

I like the light line also. I fish a clear lake and use 6lb ultragreen maxima. I tie that to 10lb high vis.
