Default Crappie Fisher Fishing with me on Harding.

chris took the chance and made the drive to fish with me 2/09/06. He just sent me the pic of our catch. Great guide..I didn't get the pic myself.
we had a good afternoon and early evening trip. We just kept the 10" plus. Had plenty of shorts. We caught 90% before the sunset. Kinda slow after the sunset. Fish were in 25' water at 11'..Water temp was 53 degrees. Them dang Striper/hybrids kept us untangling lines for a while but they are fun to fight. Fisher just bought a new filet knife he told me so I know he broke in in well with this mess of fish.

Wind is always a factor during late winter and early spring. Just have to fight it. Sometime you win sometimes you get blown away.
This is my favorite time of the year. The crappie have started feeding in anticipation of the spawn and the average crappie fisherman hasn't dusted off a rod yet. The lake is empty. I think we saw maybe 3 boats that day. Crappie are biting, give me a call for a great catching trip.
