    Question Last Trolling Motor Question

Thanks guys for all the info. One last question before I buy me a trolling motor. If you had to buy a new trolling motor do you get a 12-volt or 24-volt and what's your reason. It will go on a Tracker PT-185!!!!!!!!

24-volt. To me they tend to last longer and typically have more power.

24V uses ½ the current a 12V does. (in theory per Ohm's law).

Go with the 12/24. Sooner or later you will be glad you did. Cant have too much power, but you can always slow down.

I can fish daylight til dark with my 24v on a 20ft boat. I wouldn't have it any other way.
This only my opinion, but nothing you can say will change my mind. That makes it a FACT.
