    Default Crappie cleaning table

I need to build a table to clean crappie on. Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions that work for them?

Being a tightwad, I didn't do anything fancy, but here's what we did: When the old gas grill died, we kept the cart it was mounted on, cut apiece of 2' x 4' plywood and mounted it to the top of the cart. Then we cut two holes: one to hold a plastic basket for fish offal and one to hold a Rubbermaid container with saltwater for the filets. I keep a stash of paper towels in one of the wire baskets that are part of the cart.
When I'm done cleaning fish, Doug hoses it off and sprays the surface with Lysol Kitchen Disinfectant.
We don't keep a lot of fish , so this simple system works great for us. - Roberta

    Default ok

Here's mine. Table has galvanized top. Also made standing platform to keep from getting me feet muddy/wet. All built from scraps I had laying around the house.

Wow Rango, you gotta catch a lot of crappie to fill all of those pots up. Nice set-up. CEB -

Looks like some crawfish cooking goes on there.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

If Rango didn't give away most of the fish that are caught in "The Beast " , that cleaning station wouldn't be large enough. Keep reading the SC board about Rango and "The Beast"...
