Default does anyone use Southern Crappie rods?

They have 16fters for $40. Just wondering if they were good quality stuff? Can they handle 1/2 ounce weights without bending over like a buggy whip?

I have two 16' that I longline and tightline using 3/4 oz. wieght. It is close to the action of the WM universal. I know a good many people that use them and they like them. You can order them off of web at thier web site.
