Default Its a no go on the boat for now

We got approved to buy a house on Friday. Have to put $1000 down so the boat is out for another year. House is more important. Boy that was a tough pill to swallow but its better for the family. Thanks for all the advise everyone gave me in my search. I will keep everything in mind when I start my search again.

Yeah it didn't take too long to decide between boat and house. But with my luck the house will fall through and I will have my money back and the boat will be sold.....lol..........

You got your priorities right GlenC. That year will pass in a hurry and you'll be fishing in a new boat. When that time passes, get your boat in a hurry. You might get slickered into buying a swimming pool like me, and then have to take care of it.

A swimming pool has already been mentioned. I told my wife there is no need for a pool when we live almost right on the lake.
