I forgot to mention to ignore the date/time. They're wrong.
I checked my Moultrie game camera and got this. You can tell it was at night and the flash was activated but I have no idea what it is. The camera is mounted about 3 feet off the ground on a metal pole but there are no bushes or limbs anywhere near it. There was some rain in the area and I initially thought it might be some kind of weird lightning but after thinking about it, lightning wouldn't activate the camera in the first place and the camera wouldn't be fast enough to catch it anyhow. I've gotten several hundred photos off it but have never seen anything like this. Any ideas?
Did you check for bird sh!* on the lens. Just kidd'in got no Idea.
My guess would be condensate on the lens............
I am kinda like Souther Chuter.. I would think some water, rain maybe, or condensation from the fog. Running down the lense.
You can't fish with a hung line!
I don't think its water or condensation because I had other photos the same night and they don't show anything. Although the ends of whatever it is are blunt and rounded, they almost look like deer antlers. I got some other photos from a camera a few hundred yards away of some nice bucks. Could it be a buck was investigating the camera and it flashed when he had his nose on it?
Might have been a coon or possum climbing on it. Kinda looks like claws to me.
I GOT IT! ALIENS from up there not down south.
Something climbing on the tree near the camera. Looks liek teh flash dramaticly overexposed the subject and the lack of focus causes the round appearance. Could be possum or raccoon wiskers.
The fish are biting somewhere and here I am on the computer again...
It's a spider!
Showed it to a friend, and he said he had that before, and saw the spider.
