    Default Minnows in bulk...

Is there a website or company that sells minnows in bulk? Id like to set up a large tank to keep my own supply on hand instead of buying them at the bait shop before each trip. Thanks

Thanks tone. I found a place at 59 and the beltway that sells them for 12 a pound and you can get a coupon for 2 dollars off any 10 dollar purchase. Sounds cheap to me, it's called Ot's

I've done that with minnows/shiners in the winter because the bait stores aren't always open then.I've had good luck using a 150 qt. igloo cooler in a shed with an aquarium bubbler & shiner finer powder added. The Igloo & bubbles keeps the ice from freezing unless it's very cold like below freezing day & night for days.Even then, only a skim ice will form and I remove that.I've not had any success in warm weather mid june-september for any length of time.
