    Default Crappie Landing Nets?

It happen and it is nothing I can do but replace my dip net. My EGO telescoping crappie rubber net wanted to go for swim at 50 mph and then went for walk on the bottom before I could get the boat to it. Before I get a replacement, I wanted to see if there is anymore on the market that may be better. The old one would not twist lock any more and I had problems with it not telescoping in cold weather. Anyone used the The Crappie Masters net that telescopes out to 12 foot. Looking for some opions and options before spending $50 again. Thanks in advance.

Ego has a new version coming out real soon. They had one at the CUSA classic and it is awesome. I will be getting one for sure.

I know hine sight is 20/20, but after a friend of mine did what you did, I got a 2 ft piece of thick pipe insulation that just covers the end section where you can still get to the twist to scope it and taped it on with red tape, it now floats. Not really in the way either.

I have used the one from Crappiemasters for several years and it has done a very good job. It is a little heavy and the hooks get caught sometimes but I haven't found anything I like better. I have also taped a piece of pipe insulation around it to make it float.

I have an Ego S2 Slider and I love it! I highly recommend them. Not sure if they are for sale yet or not but if not they should be very soon. I got mine right before the CUSA classic and have not had a singe issue with it so far.

I also have the EGO Reach rubber net and love it. After reading this, I will be putting some pipe insulation on mine.

The EGO Reach Rubber net is the only way to go in my opinion. Yep...pipe insulation or a section of swiming pool noodle works good .
